Physical Health
We held a walkathon and bike rally, both to raise awareness about the importance of physical health to staying safe in winter. We also exercised with seniors to help them get ready for the harsh and brutal winter to come. Project SNOW held a table at the Canton Fall Classic Roadrace, to inform runners and spectators about our project.
Communication
Project SNOW has held countless meetings with the School Committee, Board of Selectmen, and has been in various newspapers. Those include the Boston Globe, Canton Citizen, and Canton Patch. We have spoke on radio and TV also.
Technology
Project SNOW has built a robot, which can detect black ice and warn people about it. It has been donated to first responders. We have also created an android app, which tells people about Project SNOW and winter dangers.
